Why is it important to use small file sizes for images (image files that are small in kilobytes)?
Sometimes wifi 7 just isnt fast enough...
Problem 3
What types of images should be saved as .jpg files, and what types of images should be saved as .png files?
.png
Good for funny comics
keeps text clear
works well with transparency
lossless/larger file size
.jpeg
good balance between file size and quality
printer friendly
sharp edges can blur and color loss can be an issue
fast
Problem 4
Most web browsers display images at what resolution (how many ppi)?
This is an interesting question. I'm finding 72ppi or that its more myth than reality now... apparently its a hotly debated topic
Problem 5
If you want an image to have a transparent background, what type of image should it be (what file extension would you use)?
.png seems to be the best option.
Problem 6
What are responsive images?
These are images that respond to fiddling with the display. If I reduce browser size the image adjusts to it, if I move the browser to a larger screen the image responds.
